Job Description
Clearwave Fiber LLC seeks a Field Construction Manager to lead fiber network builds in underserved communities. In this role, you will oversee field crews and contractors installing fiber-to-the-premise infrastructure, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to spec. You will manage daily construction activities, conduct site walks, coordinate materials and permits, and enforce safety and quality standards. Partnering closely with engineering, operations, and local stakeholders, you'll help expand high-speed broadband while modeling Clearwave's values of integrity, accountability, and customer focus.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day field construction of fiber network builds for residential and business customers
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, crews, and materials to meet project schedules and quality standards
- Ensure strict compliance with safety policies, permitting requirements, and local codes
- Conduct site walks, verify designs, and resolve field issues to keep projects on track
- Inspect work for quality, completeness, and adherence to engineering plans and specifications
- Track production, update project documentation, and report progress to project management
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and permitting teams to optimize build plans
- Communicate effectively with property owners, municipalities, and internal stakeholders
- Monitor costs, minimize rework, and support budget adherence
- Coach crews on best practices, safety, and Clearwave Fiber standards
