Water Project Manager

Stanley Steemer is seeking a Water Project Manager to lead residential and commercial water damage restoration projects. In this field-based role, you'll coordinate crews, equipment, and schedules from initial emergency response through final restoration. Responsibilities include assessing damage, developing work plans, communicating with customers and insurance adjusters, ensuring safety and quality standards, and documenting all work performed. You'll train and guide technicians, monitor job costs, and drive timely, customer-focused completion in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water damage restoration projects from initial response through completion
• Assess water damage, develop drying and restoration plans, and allocate crews and equipment
• Coordinate schedules, dispatch teams, and monitor progress to meet timelines and budgets
• Communicate regularly with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and company standards on every job
• Document all work, photos, measurements, and costs using digital tools and job files
• Train, mentor, and support technicians in restoration techniques and customer service
• Review job costs, materials, and labor to support accurate billing and profitability
• Collaborate with sales and operations to support repeat and referral business
• Respond to occasional after-hours or emergency calls as needed
