Lead Laundry Attendant - Hospitality

Join Marriott as a Lead Laundry Attendant in our Housekeeping & Travel team, supporting exceptional guest experiences through spotless, well-presented linens. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee daily laundry operations, supervise and train laundry staff, and ensure efficient processing of guest room and hotel linens. You'll operate commercial equipment, maintain quality and safety standards, manage basic inventory, and coordinate with Housekeeping to meet service timelines, all while exemplifying Marriott's people-first, inclusive culture and commitment to outstanding hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily laundry operations for guest rooms and hotel facilities
• Supervise, train, and schedule laundry attendants to meet service standards
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and finish linens according to brand quality requirements
• Inspect linens for damage, stains, and quality, ensuring timely replacement or re-wash
• Operate and troubleshoot commercial washers, dryers, and finishing equipment safely
• Maintain inventory levels of linens, uniforms, and laundry chemicals; assist with ordering
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and environmental procedures
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and Front Office to meet guest service timelines
• Monitor productivity, reduce waste, and support cost-control initiatives
