Senior Nuclear Engineer III

Performs advanced engineering analysis and problem solving for nuclear energy operations. Provides technical expertise and leadership on engineering programs, resolves equipment and system issues, ensures work complies with design criteria and industry codes, and recommends improvements to performance, cost, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
• Identify and resolve equipment and system problems as a technical expert.
• Provide engineering leadership for short- and long-term programs affecting site operations.
• Complete assigned engineering tasks using general engineering principles.
• Ensure work is accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with configuration management and applicable codes.
• Conduct research, reviews, studies, and analyses, and recommend equipment or design improvements.
