Service Technician

Job Description Job Description Mancan, in partnership with a local automobile dealership, is searching for a Service Technician. We are looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join a fast-paced automotive service team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience or a strong interest in vehicle maintenance and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs including oil changes, fluid services, and part replacements
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using basic diagnostic tools and equipment
Inspect vehicles and identify necessary repairs or maintenance needs
Rotate, balance, and replace tires as needed
Check, top off, and replace fluids including brake, transmission, coolant, and windshield washer fluids
Complete minor to moderate repairs such as brakes, belts, hoses, and battery replacements
Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings with supervisors or service advisors
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Follow all dealership and safety procedures
Provide professional and courteous customer service when needed

Qualifications:

Previous automotive technician or service technician experience preferred
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance, and repair procedures
Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Valid drivers license required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Certifications (ASE or similar) are a plus but not required

Schedule & Pay:

Full-time position Monday through Friday 8a-5p (schedule may vary based on dealership hours)
Pay based on experience $18-$32 per hour
