Job Description
As an Entertainment Ambassador at Great Wolf Lodge, you bring the resort's family fun to life. In this on-site, guest-facing role, you lead interactive games, story times, dance parties, and seasonal events that engage children and adults alike. You'll host character meet-and-greets, support photo opportunities, and create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere across the lodge. Working closely with attractions, front desk, and food & beverage teams, you help deliver seamless, safe experiences while upholding resort standards for cleanliness and crowd management. You'll assist with event setup and breakdown, operate basic audio/visual or activity equipment, and clearly communicate schedules and activity details to families. Ideal candidates are outgoing, reliable, and comfortable performing or speaking in front of groups. Previous hospitality, recreation, theater, or guest service experience is helpful but not required; Great Wolf Lodge provides training and growth opportunities so you can build a career in a fun, family-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and host family-friendly activities, games, and events throughout the resort
- Facilitate character appearances, photo opportunities, and interactive experiences
- Engage guests of all ages with energetic, professional, and friendly service
- Support safe crowd flow and adherence to resort safety and cleanliness standards
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and basic operation of entertainment equipment and spaces
- Coordinate with front desk, attractions, and food & beverage teams to enhance guest experience
- Communicate schedules, activity details, and resort information clearly to guests
- Respond to guest questions, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Follow all policies related to safety, emergency procedures, and child/family welfare
- Support special events, peak periods, and holiday programming as needed
