Prepared Foods Team Leader Assistant

Join Giant Eagle as a Prepared Foods Team Leader Assistant and support daily operations in our prepared foods department. You'll assist with scheduling, training, and guiding team members while ensuring high standards for food quality, safety, and merchandising. Partner with the Team Leader to manage inventory, reduce shrink, and maintain a clean, well-organized work area. You'll also engage with guests, resolve issues, and promote a welcoming, people-first environment that reflects Giant Eagle's commitment to community, teamwork, and excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the prepared foods department
• Assist with scheduling, training, and coaching team members
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and shrink control
• Maintain attractive merchandising and product displays
• Provide responsive, friendly customer service
• Resolve guest concerns and escalate issues as needed
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with Team Leader on sales and labor goals
