Janitorial Project Manager - Facilities Services

ABM Industries seeks a Janitorial Project Manager to lead facility cleaning operations across diverse client sites. You will oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance; conduct quality inspections; and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient janitorial services. This role manages budgets, labor, and supplies while building strong client relationships and addressing service issues. You'll champion ABM's culture of safety, respect, and inclusion, support employee development, and help implement continuous improvements and special projects in commercial, education, healthcare, and aviation environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day janitorial operations across assigned facilities for ABM clients.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise janitorial teams to meet service and safety standards.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions to ensure contract compliance.
• Manage budgets, labor hours, and supplies to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations for all staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing service issues and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment, chemicals, and supplies to support operations.
• Track and report performance metrics, incidents, and project status to leadership.
• Support rollout of new contracts, transitions, and special cleaning projects.
• Promote ABM's culture of safety, inclusion, and recognition within frontline teams.
