# Stress-Free Social Impact Leader: Remote Internship Program
A partnership between Voice Up and The Lokaa Foundation, Oneness Generation
The Crisis
America faces an unprecedented loneliness epidemic. The U.S. Surgeon General has declared loneliness a public health crisis, with 61% of young adults aged 18-25 reporting serious loneliness and 88% of young Britons experiencing loneliness to some degree. This isolation spans all generations and creates cycles of anxiety and depression.
The Solution
We're training a new type of leader community weavers who operate from connection rather than isolation, fostering genuine relationships and mobilizing collective action toward shared purpose.
Program Overview
Mission: Combine proven Stress Free Zone methodology with Voice Up's five core principles (Collaboration, Humility, Precision, Patience, Empathy) to develop leaders who combat loneliness across 1,100 cities in 60 countries.
Who We Serve: All ages welcome with customized training for:
- Youth support professionals and educators
- Workplace leaders and HR professionals
- Senior care providers
- Community organizations
- Individual learners of any age
Program Structure
3-Month Foundation:
- 6 mandatory Stress Free Zone workshops (age-customized)
- Weekly integration circles with global network
- Community loneliness-reduction project implementation
- Peer and cross-generational mentorship
Six Core Workshops:
1. Nurturing a Healthy Brain (Precision)
2. An Attentive Mind (Patience)
3. Being Yourself (Humility)
4. Power Over Anger (Empathy)
5. Relieving Anxiety (Collaboration)
6. Calming Stress (Integration)
The Leaders We Develop
- Community Weavers: Connect isolated individuals into support networks
- Belonging Builders: Create environments where people feel genuinely valued
- Purpose Activators: Help communities discover shared meaning
- Resilience Cultivators: Build systems preventing isolation during crisis
