Class A HAZMAT Truck Driver

Hepaco seeks a Class A HAZMAT Truck Driver to support environmental remediation, industrial cleaning, and emergency response operations. In this field-based role, you will safely operate Class A vehicles, transport hazardous materials, and support spill response, waste hauling, and site cleanup across varied conditions. Responsibilities include adhering to DOT and HAZMAT regulations, conducting pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and following strict safety and PPE protocols. You'll work closely with field technicians and response teams on rotating on-call schedules, with opportunities for advanced HAZMAT training, certifications, and career growth into lead and supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A trucks to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely
• Support emergency spill response and environmental remediation activities
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Maintain accurate driver logs, manifests, and regulatory documentation
• Follow all DOT, HAZMAT, and company safety policies and procedures
• Use pumps, vacuums, and related equipment for waste collection and transfer
• Work in varying weather and field conditions, including confined and high-risk areas
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency response
• Coordinate with field crews, supervisors, and clients on job execution
• Attend required safety meetings, drills, and ongoing training sessions
