Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Provide technical EHS support to manufacturing operations, with a focus on workplace health and safety. Implement regulatory programs, deliver training, conduct inspections and hazard analyses, support incident investigations and workers' compensation cases, and assist with environmental compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Implement written EHS programs and policies aligned with federal and state requirements.
• Develop and deliver safety orientation and refresher training, conduct job hazard analyses, and inspect workplaces.
• Administer hearing conservation, hazard communication, industrial hygiene, and contractor safety programs.
• Guide managers and supervisors through incident reporting and investigations; support workers' compensation claims.
• Partner with department leaders, facilitate the Safety Committee, and promote safety communications and improvement plans.
• Assist with environmental permits, regulatory programs, agency coordination, and compliance reporting.
