Academics are working with a wide variety of Secondary schools across Essex who are seeking new Cover Supervisors to start this September. We are looking for proactive and enthusiastic people to cover lessons and support students in the Teachers absence.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing student behaviour and creating a positive learning environment. Additionally, you will oversee the work assigned by the teacher and uphold high expectations for all students

A Cover Supervisor provides a great opportunity to teach in different schools, experiencing different educational environments and putting your skills to the test.

The ideal candidate should:
Be able to provide support to learners
Hold an Honors Degree
Be confident in front of a class, managing behaviour and keeping learners on task
Previous experience in a Secondary school setting
Ability to manage challenging behaviour
Be eligible to work
Possess excellent organisational and communication skills
Hold a passion for teaching and a desire to make a difference
Support students with their learning and provide assistance when needed
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
Right to work in the UK and experience working in a school within the UK
